The  extravagant  BMW  HiFi  system,  Professional 
LOGIC7/DSP,  offers  you  stunning  HiFi  quality  and 
an exceptional listening experience.

Further  optimisation  of  the  sound  quality  of  the 
midrange  and  treble  loudspeakers  with  aluminium 
membranes 

has 

lead 

to 

noticeably 

more 

differentiated sound quality as compared to the HiFi 
system. The harmonious spatial sound is generated 
by  the  additional  centre  loud  speaker  and  the  new 
LOGIC  7  equalising  concept.  Additional  midrange 
loudspeakers  in  the  rear  doors  (in  the  E64  on  the 
rear sides) ensure excellent spatial sound in the rear 
of  the  vehicle.  The  increased  power  output  allows 
for  a  higher  maximum  volume  at  a  level  of  110  dB 
without  distortion.  The  effect  of  driving  noises  is 
automatically  compensated  by  sensitive  speed-
dependent equalising in the bass range.

Professional HiFi system for E85, E83 

High  quality  loudspeaker  components  in  the  Top 
HiFi system ensure that the reproduction of music in 
the  Roadster  becomes  a  listening  experience. 
Specially-developed  subwoofers  using  Carver 
technology  are  used  for  the  bass  reproduction. 
These  provide  an  ex-tremely  sturdy  bass  repro-
duction  without  being  intru-sive.  The  increased 
power  output  allows  for  a  higher  maximum  volume 
without distortion at a level of 120 dB, beginning at 
40  Hz.  The  effect  of  driving  noises  is  automatically 
compensated by infinitely variable speed-dependent 
equalising in the bass range.
