She goes to school at nine o’clock.

She eats lunch at twelve o’clock.

Lisa gets up at seven o’clock.

She gets dressed to go to school.

Lisa goes to bed. 

She eats dinner.

She has a shower at night.

Write the numbers in order: 1, 2, 3, 

4, 5, 6, 7.

Procedure

Ask children to tell you about things they do every day, eliciting as many English words as possible, I get up, I get 
dressed, I eat lunch, etc. Ask different children what time they get up, go to bed, etc.

Distribute the worksheets and ask pupils to look at the pictures of Lisa’s daily routine. Make sure that they 
understand that the pictures and sentences are in the wrong order.They must read the sentences carefully and put 
them in the correct order, starting with the first thing Lisa does in the day. Pupils can work individually or in pairs.

Go round helping as necessary.When everyone has finished, check by asking pupils to read the sentences aloud in 
the correct order.
