Tape Specification     

KT Method

 

Patient Position: Seated with 
forearms folded across the chest. 
Flex the head and round the upper 
back.  

Apply the central portion of the first 
strip of the tape to the space between 
the spinous processes of the 7th and 
8th thoracic vertebrae. Apply the 
superior tail of the tape to the superior 
angle of the left scapula and the 
inferior tail to the right 12th rib. 

 

Apply the central portion of the 
second strip of the tape to the space 
between the spinous processes of the 
7th and 8th thoracic vertebrae. 
Apply the superior tail of the tape to 
the superior angle of the right scapula 
and the inferior tail to the left 12th rib.
