KT Method
Patient Position: Seated. Apply the
base of the tape to the greater
tubercle of the humerus.
Place the shoulder joint in horizontal
adduction. Apply the base of the tape
to the space between the spinous
processes of the 3rd and 4th thoracic
vertebrae, following the spine of the
scapula.
With the shoulder joint in further
flexion and horizontally adduction,
apply the other end of the tape to the
inferior angle of the scapula.
