Output cables

With most trackball modules an output cable is included in the standard unit package.
At the end of the cable you can find a copper ring. A small drain wire comes out of the cable
end and is pressed under the copper ring.

There is only one good way to attach the shielding of this cable to a housing or frame.
You have to use a metal shielding clamp and fix it around the copper ring. The clamp itself
needs to be connected to the housing or frame.
(external diameter of copper ring is approx. 6-7 mm)

Note: Do not use the drain wire for making shielding connections, the length of the wire is
not defined and can change between batches.
