My job. I am soldier for seventeen years. I am working as a military radar controller. I am a captain. I work in Warsaw so I go to work by bus and by underground. It takes me about one hour. I start work at 7.30 (half past seven) a.m. and I work for 24 (twenty four) hours. When I arrive at work I have to get dressed a uniform. I work as a military radar controller so my work is very difficult and very responsible. I have to observe planes which are in the air. This place is dark and quite so I can't to speak up. Sometimes I have shooting, drills and regulations. When I arrive at home I am tired. I like my job because my job is very interesting and very exciting.

My perfect place/view. I don't heave a perfect place or view. So I must figure it to myself. I would like to visit New York. Why? One day I would like to open a window and see beautiful view on the city. The some tall buildings with different windows, different colored lights. I like big cars, big houses, big armchairs so I would like to have a big and comfortable house, two or three cars, a big pool and a big garden. There are lots of toll trees, different plants, some flowers - red, yellow, green, blue, pink, and ours a big house in the center garden. Near my home would be a beach and clear sea. I would like to live in the place. I would like to visit White House.

MY DAY Every day I wake up at 6.00 o'clock. I quickly make the bed and I go to bathroom. I brush my teeth, wash my face and comb my hair. I get dressed and I go shopping. Then I have a breakfast. I usually eat sausage and of course toast. I always drink a cup of coffee. I leave home at ten to eight and I rush for my classes. I usually spend six hours at school and about 2.00 pm. I go home. I have a diner. Then I clean my flat and I listen to music. In the evening I have a sapper and them I watch TV with my family. I like watching the news and interesting. If a film is boring I go to my room and I read book or surf the net. At about 11.00 pm. I have a shower and I ready to sleep. I fall asleep a few minutes after midnight.

MY FLAT The house, which I live, has four floors. I live on the first floor. Our flat has a long corridor; the bathroom and the toilet are separate. The kitchen is spacious and comfortable. We heave there a big table with some stools and very nice cupboards. Whenever visitors visit us, they like to sit in our kitchen because it's very cosy. Unfortunately we don't have central heating in our flat and it's a bit cold sometimes. My room is quite big. I have here comfortable sofa and two armchairs. The furniture is rather old but in good conditions. Between the sofa and the armchairs there is small round table on which I put my books and magazines. In the corner there is a big wardrobe full of my clothes. I also have an old chest of drawers, where I put my trifles. By the window there is my desk at which I study English every day. Besides there is a lot of plants, pictures, posters and a few bookshelves. On the floor there is a woolen carpet. The window is curtain less because it looks on a small garden. I like my room very much and I'm happy that I don't have to share with anybody.

MY WEEKEND Saturday is my favorite day. I'm very busy during the week and I don't have much free time. So when the weekend comes I like to relax and enjoy myself. In the morning I usually must help my wife in the housework. I clean our flat water the plants then I go shopping. When everything is ready I can let loose and have a good time. I always do my homework on Friday to have time to spare at the weekend. On Saturday evening I usually visit my friends or invite them to my place. We sit over a cup of coffee with some delicious piece of cake and listening to music, carry on long discussions and sometimes we dance. Once o month I go with my friends to the cinema. I like to have a Saturday evening out. When I come back home I usually watch TV, do crosswords or read newspaper. Sunday is a time for all the family. In the morning we go somewhere out of the city to get some fresh air. In the afternoon we often visit our parents and we eat a meal together. When the weather is good, we sit in the garden and have barbecue. Then I take my dog for a walk, or I go jogging (to run). Sunday evening is quiet. It's time to get ready for Monday. I read a book or watch TV for a while and I go to bed quite early. The weekend goes by so quickly.

List do przyjaciela Dear Martin, I'm a soldier. I'm forty - four years old. I live in Giżycko where I work. I go to work by car every day. I'm married and I have three children: two sons and a daughter. Aneta is seventeen, older son Michał is five, younger son Adam is three. My wife Irena is a teacher. She works at school. I live in a block of flats. There are three rooms, a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a hall. In my flat I live with my family. I like wachting football ,basketball and reading books. At the weekends I spend time with my family. Sometimes I go to the cinema and to the theater. My favourite way of spending my free time is jogging and going for walks in the wood.
