Cancer:

Czynniki ryzyka: -diet low in fibre, -heredity, -ageing, -polyposis of colon, -ulcerative colitis, being male.

Symptomy : -rectal bleeding, -blood in the stools, -abdominal pain, -anaemia, -weight loss, -bowel obstruction, -metastases, -change in the bowel habits (like diarrhoea/ constipation)

Badanie: -examination per rectum, -endoscopic(colonoscopy, rectoscopy), -biopsy

Leczenie: -surgical excision of the tumour( laparotomy, colostomy ), -radiation therapy, chemotherapy

Typy: malignant - złośliwy

Benign - Å‚agodny

Carcinoma - gruczolakorak

Sarcoma - mięsak

Leukemia - białaczka

Lymphoma - chłoniak

Myeloma - szpiczak
