“In the spirit of peace, love and la la la-ing, this
San Diego quartet mines the pop (and poppies)
of the psychedelic-rock 60's and 70's,
uncovering wonderfully bright, singsong John
and Paul melodies.”

– SPIN

“…get your ticket punched and grab a seat on
the bandwagon before it gets too crowded.”

– San Diego’s 94/9 FM

"... Silver Sunshine is the kind of band that could
bring pop psychedelia to a new generation...
stunning melody and crystalline production."

– Harp

"....Silver Sunshine is talented enough to avoid
falling into the trap of merely aping their
antecedents in an artless display of slavish retro
worship by blending all their influences into a
singular sonic presentation that's both highly
referential yet infinitely original. Back to the
future, indeed."

–  Amplifier

“If you only buy one neo-psych album this year,
make it this one, you won’t regret it.”

– Paul Martin

Weekly, LA Weekly, and everyone else in-between.

Silver Sunshine has been called "the band that will bring pop

psychedelia to a new generation" by several publications.  This EP is
proof that they are leading the way, not following.

Full national press campaign by Track Star Media, Full national retail

campaign by Flea Marketing (Death Cab for Cutie, Nada Surf, They Might
Be Giants, David Byrne), and full college radio campaign.

With their eponymous debut receiving glowing reviews,
Silver Sunshine are being depicted as "the band that could
bring pop psychedelia to a new generation
” (HARP).
Experimenting with different instruments, harmonies, and
moods, Richard Vaughan (guitar, vocals), Conor Riley
(guitar, vocals), Stuart Sclater (bass), and Iain Andrew
(drums) have honed their craft for intricate song structures
and winding melodies, bestowing upon their fans “A Small
Pocket of Pure Spirit
”.

Silver Sunshine are viscerally being pulled into darker and
heavier territory without resistance, creating songs woven
with themes ranging from the end of the world to Greek
mythology
, thereby revealing a glimpse of the progression
to be heard on their next full-length without losing any of
their pop sensibility or hooks.  Continuing on this path of
whimsical pop perfection, one can only wonder what's next.
