PART NUMBER INFORMATION OF cee'd SW (ED) TAILGATE LIFTER ASSEMBLY

 

Description 

 
This bulletin provides information on changes in cee'd SW (ED) tailgate lifters. The part numbers of tailgate
lifters have been changed as mentioned in the table of below Parts Information and when replacement of 
tailgate lifters is required, order new design ones.   
 
[Change for Reason] 
There is no change in appearance between previous and new design tailgate lifters, but dynamic damping
range (A) of tailgate lifters is reduced from 85 mm to 60 mm, so 

even if only one of old design right and left

tailgate lifters needs to be replaced, both of them should be simultaneously replaced with new design ones
to prevent variation in damping force.

Service Procedure 

 

 When installing new design tailgate lifters,  
 be sure to follow the correct tightening torque  
 for the mounting bolts specified below. 
 Tightening Torque: 7~11 N.m (0.7~1.1 kgf.m, 
                                     5~8 lb-ft)
