Requirements:

USB original cable (comes in phone package) 
MT Box activated for MoTomagx module 

 
 

 
 
 

 

How to start: 

 

Install phone drivers from software folder 

c:\Program Files\GriffinTeam\MT MoTomagx\Phone Drivers\USB_Driver_32\ 

Motorola_EU_Driver_Installation_3.9.0_Motconn__01.00.10I.msi 
 

After drivers installation start MoTomagx software from: 

c:\Program Files\GriffinTeam\MT MoTomagx\MoTomagx.exe 

 

Select desired MT Box sn (in drop down list will be shown all MT Box sn, if 

you have more then one MT Box connected to this PC) 

 

Check phone model from back side cover, then click to 

Change folder 

in 

MoTomagx software and point to your phone model folder. For example if 

you have Motorola U9 for unlock point to c:\Program Files\GriffinTeam\MT 
MoTomagx\U9\  folder  

 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 
 

 
 

 
 

 

Now click to Connect button 

In Select Action automatically will be selected U9 Unlock Step 1 
If there is a more then one version of  Unlock Step 1 file, please select file 

by your phone boot loader version 

Example: Your phone boot loader version is 06.2a, then you need  

Select Action from list U9 Unlock Step 1 (06.2a) 
You can use newest boot loader versions for older phone boot loader 

If you have phone with newest boot loader then available Unlock Step 1 file, 
please report  us on support forum in 

Unlock request file post

 

Now take phone and press in same time * and #, then press phone power 

on button (phone flash mode) 

 

Phone will show on their Boot loader version and message: 

 

 
 

Battery OK 
OK to Program 

Connect USB 
Data Cable 

 
 

Now connect USB cable to phone 
In software you will see number of connected Phones: 

1

 

If you have connected more then 1 phone to  PC their number will be show 
in software counter. Please disconnect all phones except this one you want 

to unlock. 
Now press GO button and wait to software finish Step 1 
Wait to phone turn on by it self.  

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 

Turn off the phone and connect it in flash mode again (* + # + Power on 
button) 

Select in software U9 Unlock Step 2 and press GO button and wait to  

software finish.  

 
 

Unlock Step 2 is same for all boot loader versions
