The vision of optimised space within a compact

a capacity of 405 litres, and you’ll see that you

possible by the car’s innovative three-box shape,

variable i-VTEC system. This ingenious design
adjusts the valve timing according to the
driving conditions resulting in a drive that
offers you optimal performance and effi ciency.
At the heart of the Brio performance is a
compact, four-cylinder engine which delivers
an exciting 65 kW at 6000 rpm, linked to a
torque peak of 109 Nm at 4500 rpm. Honda
engineers have included a choice of a fi ve-
speed automatic gearbox as an enticing option.
The Brio comes standard with a 2 year /
30000 km service plan.

Safety features
The Brio comes with a range of enhanced
safety features. Honda’s G-Force Control body
engineering technologies (Advanced G-Con)
recognise the need to dissipate crash forces
away from a vehicle’s occupants in the case of a
collision. Crumple zones are engineered into the
critical body components, while also regulating
the way collision forces react with the interior
components of a vehicle. G-Con also allows the
accurate location of safety-critical components
such as seatbelt mounting points.
ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and EBD
(Electronic Brake Distribution) offer optimal
braking force on all wheels for enhanced
vehicle control
Driver and passenger airbags and
integrated head restraints
Pretensioner seatbelts with load limiters
tighten to keep the body fi rmly in place in
a collision
ACE (Advanced Compatibility Engineering)
prevents cabin deformation in head-on
collisions by dispersing the collision forces
away from the passenger safety cell. This
is achieved by employing a front-mounted
polygonal main frame with energy-
absorbing capabilities
