Instructions
1. Following the manufacturer's directions, base coat the front and back of the frame with 2-3 coats of
Forest Glen Make It Suede!.
2. Base coat the top of the leaves as follows - Caramel: three small and three large leaves; Brushed
Sienna: two small and two large leaves; and Bordeaux: three small and three large leaves. (*Crafting tip:
Temporarily affix each group of leaves to a separate piece of cardboard, using loops of masking tape for
each leaf. Paint the leaves and allow to dry while on the board. This makes them easier to handle.)
3. Add veining to each leaf, using the leafing pens as follows: 18 KT. Gold veins on each Caramel leaf,
Silver veins on each Bordeaux leaf, and Copper veins on each Brushed Sienna leaf.
4. Glue spacers to each of the following: one large Bordeaux leaf, one small Bordeaux leaf, one large
Brushed Sienna leaf, and one large Caramel leaf.
5. Glue the leaves to the frame, referring to the model for suggested placement.
