Satin Wool (4 ply)

US G/6 - 4.25 mm crochet hook
•
Tapestry Needle (for weaving in ends)

With this patterns you will be able to make an embellishment, heart bookmark
and also hearts on a string for some valentines decoration. I used Satin wool for
this project it seems to give it a much nicer look.
Note: All of the stitches will be made in the 1st chain from hook – this will become
the centre of the heart
Ch 4, 3 trc in 1st ch
3 dc, ch 1, 1 trc,(this is the bottom point of the heart)
ch1, 3 dc, 4 trc, join with sl st to centre of heart
EMBELLISHMENT: Fasten off, weave in ends
BOOKMARK: Do not fasten off. Ch 50, fasten off.
If you wish you can add a button or other embellishments to the bookmark.
HEARTS ON A STRING: *ch 30, 3 trc in 1st ch, 3 dc, ch 1, 1 trc,(this is the bottom
point of the heart) ch1, 3 dc, 4 trc, join with sl st to centre of heart. Repeat from *
until you reach your desired length.
