Did you win the football match yesterday?

Chłopiec:

I hope so, Mum.

Tekst 2.
Dziewczynka:  I’ve got over five hundred postcards in my collection. My mum

travels a lot and she sends me postcards from different countries:
France, Greece, even from Australia. I think collecting postcards is
fun. I’ve got the biggest collection in my class. I often swap them
with friends.

Tekst 3.
Chłopiec:

Hi, Kate! It’s John. We’re organising a surprise party for Betty.
I hope you’ll come. We’re meeting at 4 p.m. at my house. See you!

Zadanie 2.

Dialog 1.
Kobieta:

Good morning. Can I help you?

Chłopiec:

Yes, please. I’m looking for the latest book by Ellie Johnson. The
title is “The Meeting in the Café”. I can’t find it on the shelves.

Kobieta:

Just a moment. I have to check it on my computer. Yes, we’ve got
the book. I’ll bring it in a second. Can I have your library card,
please?

Dialog 2.
Dziewczynka:  Dad, can we buy this computer? Please!
Mężczyzna:

Well, it’s a bit expensive, Emma.

Dziewczynka:  But it’s really fast. All my friends at school have got computers like

that.

Mężczyzna:

OK. Let’s take a look at it.

Dialog 3.
Dziewczynka:  Hi Andy! I’m sorry I’m late. I went to the library after lessons.
Chłopiec:

No problem. What shall we have? They’ve got delicious ice cream
here.

Dziewczynka:  Well, I don’t like ice cream very much. I’ll just have a cup of tea. And

you?

Chłopiec:

I’ll have strawberry ice cream. It’s the best!

Chłopiec:

Mrs Smith. She’s our sports teacher.

Dziewczynka:  You mean the woman talking on the phone?

Oh, no. That’s my older sister, Kate. She’s here on holiday as well.
And Mrs Smith is over there, swimming in the sea.

Dziewczynka:  Where? Next to that boat?
Chłopiec:

Yes, that’s her. She’s a great swimmer, isn’t she? And the girl in the
boat is my classmate, Lilly.

Dziewczynka:  And the two girls who are playing volleyball? Are they from your

class, too?
