Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Installation

1. Release the parking brake.

2. Support the muffler and tailpipe assembly.

3. Torque: 5 Nm

5. Remove the floor console.

 (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).

6. Torque: 24 Nm

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. Adjust the parking brake cable.
