NEW MAJOR DATA PACKAGE VERSION 12.0 (MCU SW 6.03.40)
New major data package version 12.0 (MCU SW 6.03.40) has been released
for RM-1.
Before installing product data package, please install Phoenix Service
Software version 2006.34.2.156 or later.
Software downgrade is not allowed, due to BB5 security. In case older
software is flashed, the phone does not boot up. USB flashing doesn’t
work if phone cannot boot up. This can be fixed by flashing newer
software or the same software that was previously used in the phone.
This can be done only in level 3 service using phone specific adapter
and prommer.
Major data package v12.0 includes following SW components:

- Variant
images
- Product specific ini-files (e.g. RM_1.ini)
- Configuration and testing ini-files (adcreadings.ini, autotune_RM-1.ini,
Bluetooth.ini, Camera_control.ini, Factoryset.ini, Phoneinfo.ini,
Rfconf_RM-1.xml, RM_1displaytest.ini, RM_1_als.ini, RM_1_tunings.ini)
Size of the data package is 102 MB
Changes/improvements made from MCU SW v 6.03.08 to v 6.03.40:
- Memory handling improved when entering or exiting deep sleep.
- New IMEISV number.
- Operator name list updated.
