MATERIALS
40 YARDS: COLOR ONE: LINEN #10 Crochet Thread
3 YARDS: COLOR TWO: PURPLE #3 Crochet Thread
3 YARDS: COLOR THREE: LIME #3 Crochet Thread
SIZE 3.25 USA HOOK or desired hook size.
PENDANT:
RND 1: COLOR TWO: PURPLE
1. CH 6, Join with a SL ST in farthest CH from hook to form a Ring.
2. CH 3, 23 DC in Ring.
3. SL ST in top of beginning CH 3. Fasten Off
RND 2: COLOR THREE: LIME
SPECIAL STITCH: DC CLUSTER= YO and pull up loop in designated Stitch. YO and pull
through 2 loops. YO and pull through 1 loop. YO and pull up loop in same designated Stitch.
YO and pull through 2 loops. YO and pull through remaining loops on hook.
1. Attach yarn to and DC. CH 1, SC in same place.
2. *CH 4, SKIP 2 DC. DC Cluster in next DC.
3. CH 4, SKIP 2 DC. SC in next DC.*
4. REPEAT * to * all the way around.
5. End with CH 4 and SL ST in beginning SC. Fasten Off.
RND 3: COLOR ONE: LINEN
1. Attach yarn to the top of any DC Cluster. CH 3, (Counts as DC). 4 DC in same place.
2. *(CH 2, DC in next CH 4 Space.)…..twice.
3. CH 2, 5 DC in top of next DC Cluster.*
4. REPEAT * to *….2 more times.
5. REPEAT Step 2.
6. End with CH 2 and SL ST in top of beginning CH 3. Fasten Off.
THERE ARE TWO METHODS OF JOINING THE PENDANT TO THE NECKLACE.
1. IN METHOD ONE the Pendant is joined to the Necklace as the Necklace is being made.
2. IN METHOD TWO the Pendant and Necklace are made separately and fastened off. The
Pendant is then fastened to the Necklace with SC’s.
METHOD ONE NECKLACE: COLOR ONE: LINEN
1. *CH 6, Join with a SL ST in farthest CH from hook to form a Ring.
2. CH 5, (Counts as TRC and CH 1). TURN. TRC in Ring.
3. (CH 1, TRC in Ring)….4 times.*
4. REPEAT * to *….8 more times.
5. REPEAT Step 1.
6. JOIN PENDANT TO NECKLACE AS FOLLOWS.
7. CH 4. SC in the 2
nd
DC of any Shell on Pendant.
8. SC in the next DC of Shell on Pendant.
9. YO X 2 and complete a TRC in same Ring of Necklace.
10. 4 more TRC in same Ring of Necklace.
11. REPEAT * to *….9 more times.
12. Join last Shell to beginning Ring with an SC in Ring.
13. 2 more SC in Ring. Fasten Off.
