1. Purpose

ow to check the X-tal defect regarding 

  S6/S6 Edge No Power issue

. 

 

2. Background 

- No Power on Galaxy S6 may be caused by X-tal component defect. 

- Follow the below steps to confirm the X-tal defect so that engineers can find the 

  exact root cause of No Power. 

 

3. Introduction 

- Probe the #1 or #3 point of OSC5000 with Oscilloscope and check the signal status 

  of 24MHz frequency. 

- If there is no wave signal from the OSC5000, replace the OSC5000.
