Tekst 1.

Dziewczynka: Hi Tricia, it’s Abigail here. I’m calling

because it’s my birthday on Saturday and

I’m having a party. We’re going to play

games and my mum is going to buy lots of

sweets and a birthday cake. Would you like

to come?

Tekst 2.

Dziewczynka: So, what do you think of him after the first

lesson?

Chłopiec:

Well, I think he is clever, but not very nice.

Dziewczynka: You know, he taught my aunt when he was

young. She says he wasn’t friendly.

Tekst 3.

Mężczyzna: It’s not so big, but they’ve got everything.

There is a sports hall where you can play

basketball or volleyball. There is a great

gym. There is also a place where you can

go skateboarding. There isn’t a swimming

pool, but that’s OK.

Dialog 1.

Mężczyzna: What’s the matter?

Dziewczynka: I think my arm is broken. I was at the

swimming pool and I was racing with my

friend …

Mężczyzna: You broke your arm when you were

swimming?

Dziewczynka: No. We were running to the showers.

Mężczyzna: I see. Well, we’ll put your arm in plaster.

Dialog 2.

Mężczyzna: We’ve got to go!

Dziewczynka: No, dad, please! We come here so rarely

and I love swimming!

Mężczyzna: But you’re cold! Look at your arms! Also,

we have to go. We are going shopping

today, don’t you remember? You really

need some new clothes!

Dziewczynka: OK.

Dialog 3.

Dziewczynka: So, what do you think, dad? My arms look

a bit fat in this dress.

Mężczyzna: You look great, Sarah. Buy it and let’s go.

Dziewczynka: Can we go to the café later? I’m thirsty,

I would like some water.

Mężczyzna: Sure. I’ll get some coffee.

Mężczyzna: So, the storm has finished. We can return

to our tent. It’s good we hid here – all our

things are probably wet!

Kobieta:

Oh, no! Can you see that, Tom? It was

so windy that now they are everywhere!

Where is our tent?

Mężczyzna: It’s over there, in the bushes.

Kobieta:

OK. Have you seen our sleeping bags?

Mężczyzna: Don’t worry, they’re here, near the rocks.

Kobieta:

And where are all my clothes? I’m

completely wet! Oh no, my jumper is in

a tree!

Mężczyzna: I’ll get it for you!

Kobieta:

No, better not. I’ll take my bike and cycle

to town to buy some new clothes. Oh no,

where are our bikes? We left them on the

bridge – but they aren’t there!

Mężczyzna: I returned and put them under the bridge,

remember?

Kobieta:

Oh, yes!

Kobieta:

I like Christmas but I don’t really like buying

presents. It’s sometimes a problem. Last

year my brother wanted skis but they were

too expensive. I bought him skates instead,

but he didn’t really want them. He sold

them to his friend and bought

a skateboard. In winter!

Kobieta:

So what was the weather like on the school

trip, Jake? It was rainy and cold here.

Chłopiec:

Well, it was cloudy and it rained, but only

on the first day. Then the rain stopped, and

it was sunny, but still windy. The last day

was really warm and sunny, though.

Tekst 3.

Kobieta:

Excuse me, are there any tickets for Cats

on Saturday?

Mężczyzna: Yes. We had cheap tickets for £15, but

they have sold out. There are better seats

at £30. And I’ve got some on the balcony.

They are £25.

Kobieta:

No, not the balcony. I’ll take the most

expensive ones. Two, please.

Kobieta:

This pet is a birthday present. Tim’s dad

wanted to give him a tortoise, but to me

they are a bit … cold, you know. So finally

we bought him a guinea pig. It’s really

cute. Tim would like to have a puppy like

all kids, but our flat is too small. I hope he’ll

be happy, anyway!

Mężczyzna: What are you doing, Jenny?

Dziewczynka: I’m going to have breakfast. Why?

Mężczyzna: Don’t eat fried eggs! Not with your

stomach ache. Lie down, I’ll bring you

some rice. Eat it and then take your

medicine.
