Problem

Service is aware of an issue identified during NPI analysis of the V500 Refresh
models. Some units returned with customer complaints of “Display Main –
Low/Dim Backlight” or “Software Faulty”, were found to have issue were the
Display Brightness settings do not function properly. When the Display
Brightness is accessed in the menu (settings>initial setup>brightness) the
customer is able to adjust the level but there is no corresponding change in
display brightness. There may be a noticeable change from level 4 to level 5 but
no change after that and the settings will not save after power cycle.

Solution

The correct default Display Settings for all display types has been added to the
manufacturing flex on versions .074 and later. – Completed
