Its name says it all. The Integro is a premium-quality rural-service bus and comfortable coach in one.
With its multitude of talents, it will quickly become an essential part of your vehicle fleet.

The flexible all-rounder. Whether it’s operating as a
rural-service bus, shuttle service or for day trips, the
Integro’s diverse capabilities make it a multiple earner for
your company. It is available in three lengths featuring
different door and seating variants. An extensive range
of fittings allows you to put together a model tailored to
your specific requirements. This makes it an even more
valuable member of your vehicle fleet. Its consistent
economy of operation further adds to its appeal. Your
drivers will be delighted by the powerful and economical
Euro V engines developing 220 kW to 300 kW. And your
passengers will be pampered with a generous interior
compartment. The Integro utilises the full 2.55 m vehicle
width and, measuring 12.14 m in length, the basic model
is also longer than its predecessor.

What you can expect

The Integro was specifically developed to maintain costs for day trips and regular service routes at a

A high performer for your vehicle fleet. The Integro pays
for itself from the very first kilometre. It is around 200 kg
lighter than its predecessor. This translates into increased
payload and reduced consumption. Another key benefit is
the Integro’s exceptional ease of maintenance. It is based
on a proven vehicle concept and first-class technical
components – as used in the Travego and other top
Mercedes-Benz models. Extended maintenance intervals
of 60,000 km guarantee especially low downtimes and a
high level of operational reliability. Useful details, such
as hinged bumpers, modular corners with headlamps and
indicators, or the easy accessible engine also contribute to
low maintenance.

Diagnosis at the touch of a button. Instead of
conventional electronics, the Integro features second-
generation flexibly programmed control (FPS). This
“brain” comprises intelligent modules responsible for
monitoring and controlling different vehicle components.
It operates with high reliability and enables you to
identify and rectify malfunctions and faults more
quickly. A simple diagnosis is implemented at the push
of a button – either onboard or externally using specialist
software. This helps to “automatically” reduce your
downtimes to a minimum. You can also fit the Integro
with a standardised interface for a Fleet Management
System (FMS), providing you with extensive access
to current vehicle data such as vehicle mileage, fuel
consumption or gear selection.

High performance, low consumption. Economical life-
cycle costs are a matter of course with the Integro.
That’s why it’s also equipped with a Euro V or EEV
drive based on the progressive Mercedes-Benz BlueTec

diesel technology. You can look forward to powerful
performance in conjunction with low fuel consumption.
In times of soaring fuel prices, the Integro helps you to
keep your running costs at a minimum. This also benefits
the environment thanks to low levels of pollutant and
particulate emissions.

to spoil your passengers. The Integro’s generous and

And with a floor-to-ceiling height of 2.17 m in the centre
aisle, even very tall people can stand comfortably. High-
grade materials wherever you look: the extensive range
of fittings gives you the freedom to implement your
requirements. Seats and handrails are flexibly fitted. And
you can adapt the passenger compartment to changed
application requirements in no time at all. You need a
standing section for inner city operation but prefer coach-
style seats for weekend trips? No problem. The seats
next to the second door are fitted on special changeable
platforms, which can be removed and installed with just a
few adjustments.

On the move in a pleasant atmosphere. No matter what
the weather conditions, your passengers will always enjoy
the temperature inside the Integro. This is made possible
by state-of-the-art wall-based heaters and a powerful
front heater. If you require a greater level of comfort,
you should select the high-circulation air conditioner.
It is designed for extreme conditions and is capable of
handling the summer heat in southern Europe without
any difficulty.

Safety that thinks of everything. Since the invention
of the bus by Carl Benz, Mercedes-Benz has played a
pioneering role in the ongoing development of bus safety.
Many innovations which are now standard specification
in buses were first introduced in vehicles with the three-
pointed star. Mercedes-Benz is pursuing the vision of
accident-free driving. The integrated Mercedes-Benz
safety concept makes a key contribution to realising
this vision. A key part of the safety philosophy, this
concept covers all phases of automotive safety: from
operating safety to safety in critical situations, protection
in the event of an accident, right up to minimising the
consequences of accidents. Stay on the safe side.

Safety that sets new benchmarks. You and your
passengers will always be in safe hands with the Integro.
Quick-response disc brakes, for example, support your
driver at each axle when handling critical driving
scenarios. The electronic guardian angels ABS and ASR
are included as standard and serve to enhance safety
when braking and moving off even in challenging road
conditions. The Brake Assist (BA) system is available
for the Integro for minimising the braking/stopping
distance. And since safety in bus traffic is of paramount
importance, the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) should
be an interesting proposition. This electronic safety
system helps the driver to cope better with unanticipated
driving scenarios, such as rapid cornering or abrupt
evasive steering. It represents a key contribution to
enhanced driving safety.

seat is a crucial safety factor. Perfected ergonomics
reduce the driver’s workload throughout the working day.
They have all switches and controls at their fingertips
and a perfect view of all instruments and displays. This

manoeuvrable vehicles in its class. And the drive axle
provides the ideal complement. It features a comfortable
suspension, operates extremely quietly and is particularly
easy to maintain.

Gearshift comfort. Exceptional quality when changing
gear: an easy-access joystick located on the instrument
panel enables precision operation of the manual six-
speed transmission. The servo shift assistance permits

easy engagement of the gears as if driving a car. And
the automatic transmission provides an even more
comfortable option. Another first-class alternative is the
fully automatic Mercedes-Benz GO 240-8 MPS manual
transmission. This innovative synchronous manual
transmission system significantly reduces the workload
for your driver. All they needs to do is set the direction
of travel or, in manual mode, select the right gear at the
touch of a button – the rest is handled by the automatic
system.
