Draining
WARNING: When releasing the cooling system pressure, cover the coolant expansion tank
cap with a thick cloth.
Release the cooling system pressure by slowly turning
the coolant expansion tank cap between 2 and 3 turns.

Raise and support the vehicle.

Install the radiator drain plug.

Lower the vehicle.
8.
Filling and Bleeding
CAUTION: The fluid level must remain between the MAX and MIN marks.
Switch the interior heater blower off.
1.
Fill the coolant expansion tank coolant level to the top of
the neck.
2.
Install the coolant expansion tank cap.
3.
Start the engine.
4.
Raise the engine speed to 2000 revolutions per minute
(RPM) and maintain it for 3 minute.
5.
Monitor the coolant level for approximately 3 minutes.
6.
Switch the engine off.
7.
Check the coolant level.
8.
Fill the coolant expansion tank coolant level to the neck
of the tank if necessary.
9.
Install the coolant expansion tank cap.
10.
Start the engine.
11.
Raise the engine speed to 2000 RPM.
12.
Maintain the engine speed at 2000 RPM for
approximately 13 minutes until the engine has reached

normal operating temperature.
Increase the engine speed to 3000 RPM and maintain it
for 5 seconds.

Decrease the engine speed to 2000 RPM and maintain it
for 15 minutes.
15.
Switch the engine off.
16.
Check the cooling system for leaks.

Raise and support the vehicle.

Lower the vehicle.

Allow the engine to cool.
22.
Fill the coolant expansion tank coolant level to the MAX
mark.
