Kids love to practice the months of the year! To make this work, print out both pages on cardstock. Laminate and then cut out the months and pictures, leaving 
the pictures and month names together. Cut out the card on this page to use as a control card. Have the children put the cards in order on a rug or table.  
 
These cards use cues from nature (for the most part) to identify the months. This helps them begin to look around and notice the changing weather as the  
seasons change.  
 
An older child, after putting the cards in order, may want to write the months in order. A younger child may want to write the name of one month and draw or 
trace the picture that goes with it. Either age can use the control card to check their own work.
