Pop-Up Bat Halloween Card: Instructions

Step 1. Print the card and cut out the outside box along the blue solid line.  Do not cut 
along the dotted lines -- these lines are where you will fold the paper.
 
Step 2. Use a craft knife to cut the outline of the bat.  Do not cut the fuchsia line at the tip 
of each wing, as shown.
 
Step 3. Fold the card horizontally (away from you). Carefully pinch the bat along the 
dotted line to make a crease away from you.  Now, fold the card again vertically towards 
you while carefully making sure the bat folds in the opposite direction along the crease. 
This creates the pop-out effect.
 
Step 4. Have your kids write a special note on the inside of the card!
