Size 4 mm (U.S. 6) circular knitting needle 12

crochet hook. Stitch marker. Tapestry needle.

INSTRUCTIONS

BEANIE

Note: Change to set of 4 double-pointed needles as necessary 
during shaping.

With

 and circular needle, cast on 76 sts. Join in rnd, taking care 

not to twist sts. Place marker on first st.
Knit 30 rnds.

Shape crown: 1st rnd: *K2tog. K2. Rep from * around. 57 sts rem. 
2nd and 3rd rnds: Knit.
4th rnd: *K2tog. K1. Rep from * around. 38 sts rem.
5th and 6th rnds: Knit.
7th rnd: *K2tog. Rep from * around. 19 sts rem.
8th and 9th rnds: Knit
10th rnd: (K2tog) 9 times. K1. 10 sts rem.
Cut yarn, leaving 6

 [15 cm] tail. Thread yarn through rem sts and 

pull tightly. Fasten securely.

LEGGINGS

Note:  Leggings are worked from waist down in rnds.  After 
dividing row, Legs will be knit in rows not in rnds. 

Body

With

 and circular needle, cast on 78 sts. Join in rnd, taking care 

not to twist sts. Place marker on first st.
1st to 4th rnds: Knit. 
5th rnd: (Fold edge). *yo. K2tog. Rep from * around. 
6th to 11th rnds: Knit. 
12th rnd: (Eyelet rnd). As 5th rnd. Place marker at end of last rnd.
Knit even in rnds until work from marked rnd measures 6
