Fasten off, leaving a tail long enough for sewing.  Do not stuff arms.

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 1, turn.
Rows 2-6: Sc across, ch 1, turn.
Fasten off on last sc row, leave a tail long enough
for sewing.

To Form Bow:
1. Weave in short piece of yarn (where ch was
started) to center;
2. Weave in long tail to center;

3. Pinch center and wrap long tail around
several 5 times.
4. Thread yarn through needle and secure by
running under the wrapped part, bringing it out;
secure with a knot.

Gown:
Rnd 1:  With Maroon Mist Yarn, insert crochet hook
in sc on top of body and pull yarn through to form a
loop, sl st to secure.  You will be crocheting directly
on the body.

Rnd 2:  Sc around top of body through each sc,
inserting hook directly through sc on body = 10 sc

background image

Rnd 3:  Work 2 sc in each sc = 20 sc
You will now be crocheting into first rnd of sts

Rnd 4:  *Sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat
from * around = 30 sc

Rnd 5:  Work 1 HDC in ea sc around for 8 rnds, or
until gown reaches bottom of body.
Fasten off, weave in yarn.

NOTE:  Number of sts for gown is approximate –
if you have a few less or a few more stitches in
the gown, it is ok.  Continue crocheting until gown
reaches bottom of body.

6.  Use a toothbrush and brush the gown gently – go up
and down then side to side.  This will give her gown a
fuzzy appearance.  The more you brush, the fuzzier the
yarn.  Patons Lacette is a mohair blend yarn – brushing
will make the yarn appearance fuzzy.

To Make Wings:  (Make 2)
NOTE:  Because Patons Lacette is a light fingering yarn, crochet the wings
holding 2 strands together.
With Maroon Mist Yarn, Ch 2
Rnd 1:  Work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook = 5 sc
Rnd 2:  Work 2 sc in ea sc around = 10 sc
Rnd 4:  Sc in ea of the next 7 sc, ch 1, turn
At this point, you will be crocheting back and forth, not in the round.
Rnd 5-9:  Sc across, ch 1, turn.  Do not ch 1 at end of last row.
Fasten off, leaving a tail long enough for sewing.

To Form Halo:
Measure 4” and cut silver tinsel pipe cleaner.  Fold the
pipe cleaner to form an “L” shape (one end will
measure 1-1/2”).

Form the long end  into a circle with a slight overlap.

Wrap the overlap end of circle around once to secure.

To Form Magic Wand:
Measure 7” and cut silver pipe cleaner.  Curl the tip into a continuous circle
10 turns.  Twist the curled circle 2 times.
