Focus: to revise vocabulary from the fifteenth 

of  the  Gimnazjum  Exam  topics  -  “Elementy 

wiedzy o świecie i krajach anglojęzycznych”

Level/age group: gimnazjum, grade 3

Time: 45 minutes

Preparation:  Copy  the  worksheet  (one  per 

student)

2. What do you think about those countries?

3. Can  you  recommend  any  places  in  those

Suggested follow-up: 

 

Put  the  students  into  pairs.  Student  A  claims 

that  Poles  should  copy  western  celebrations  

(St Valentine’s Day, Halloween), because Polish 

celebrations  are  not  interesting  for  young 

people. Student B claims that Polish culture is so 

rich in events and celebrations that Poles do not 

have to copy anything. Students exchange views 

and opinions.
