Materials – Kid Silk from Austermann
75% Kidmohair, 25% Silk, each ball = approx 225 m/ 25 g
100 g in Color 02 schwarz (black)
Materials – Seta from Austermann
100% Natural Mulberry Silk super fine, each ball = approx 105 m/ 50 g
150 g in Color 02 schwarz (black)

100% Polyester, each ball = approx 395 m/ 25 g

Knitting needles size 5 mm (US 8) from Schoeller + Stahl
Take time to check gauge! (Change needle size if necessary)
Basic Pat: (Gauge: 18 sts and 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4”)
The pat is stretchable in both directions.
Work following Chart using 5 mm (US 8) needles. Work the WS rows as P, including the yo’s.
Rep rows 1 and 2.
Stripe Pat:
* 4 rows Seta, 6 rows Kid Silk, 4 rows Palila *; rep from * to *.
Instructions:
Back:
With Seta cast on 78 (96) sts and P next row on WS. Work in Basic Pat and Stripe Pat as foll:
Beg with the sts before the rep, work rep 4 (5) times, end with the sts after the rep. After 72
cm/28 ½” from beg, cont with Kid Silk and work in St st until piece measures 75 cm/29 ½” from
beg. Bind off sts.
Front:
Work same as Back.
Sleeves:
With Seta, cast on 42 sts and P next row on WS. Work in Basic Pat and Stripe Pat as foll: Beg
with the sts before the rep, work rep 2 times, end with the sts after the rep. After 40 cm/15 ¾”
from beg, for the side shaping, inc 1 st each side on next row and every 6th (4th) row 6 (10)
times more, working the inc sts into St st = 56 (64) sts.
After 62 cm/24 ½” from beg, dec 1 st each side every 2nd row 8 times, and after 69 cm/27” from
beg, with Kid Silk work in St st. After 70 cm/27 ½” from beg, bind off rem 40 (48) sts.
Finishing:
Block pieces to measurements. Sew shoulder seams over 6 (11) cm/2 ½ (4 ½)” each side.
Sew side seams over 60 (59) cm/23 ½ (23 ¼)”. Set in sleeves and sew sleeve seams.
