During the last century many devices have been invented. 

Most of them are essencial to our daily life.

Some people think computers are the best invention, while 

others don't really care about new technologies. But most 

of the people can not live without  them.

ADVANTAGES

DISADVANTAGES

● almost every teenager knows how to surf 

on the Internet;

● we can talk to people all over the world; 

we can be friends with someone we have 

never met;

● the Internet is a great tool to develop our 

way of communicating;

● it is also a great tool to improve our 

knowledge;

● we can learn anything at home

● some people may get addicted;

● there is no control on the information; some 

subjects shouldn't be so exposed ( for 

example: drugs, anorexia...)

● some people may have bad intentions and 

take advantage of your information and put 

you in trouble;

● chat rooms can be dangerous if you meet 

the wrong person

One of the most important  inventions  was the creation of 

Mobile Phones. Lots of teenagers have and know how to 

use a mobile phone nowadays. The truth is ...they can't 

live without them!

● Mobile phones have many functions:

send SMS or MMS;

listen to music;

–

take photos;

–

texting;

● You may use it in different situations;

● they are indispensable for emergencies

● Texting is cheaper than phoning their 

friends

● Mobile phones are expensive;

● Some people only buy them because they 

are fashionable;

● As students don't turn them off, mobile 

phones disturb order in the classroom;

● Teenagers produced their own language 

for SMS, and it may influence their writing at 

school;
