Heidi's Hook – Little Black Bear Accessories 

 

Materials: 

US K10.5/6.50mm, US G6/4.25mm 
Small amount WW yarn in beige/brown and black 
Yarn needle 
Scissors 
 
 

Terms: 

st(s) – stitch(es) 
ch – chain 
slst – slip stitch 
sc – single crochet 
hdc – half double crochet 
dc – double crochet 
trc – treble crochet 
F.O. – fasten off 
Magic Circle 
 
 
NOTE: This pattern is for accessories to hat only. You will need to provide you own 
hat base. 

 
 
Bear snout: with beige/brown and K hook 

Ch4, work all sts in first ch (2trc, 4dc, 3trc, ch3, slst) 
F.O., leave tail to sew onto hat 
 

Nose: with black and G hook 

Ch5, sc in 2

 ch from hook and across, ch1, turn (4sc) 

1. sc in each across, ch1, turn (4sc) 
2. sc2tog twice, F.O., leaving tail to sew onto snout. 
 
Sew nose onto snout, weave in tail. Sew snout onto hat, weave in tail. 
 

Outer ear: with main hat and K hook 

MC, ch1, 6 hdc in loop, pull tight and slst to ch2 (7hdc) 
1. Ch1, hdc in same as join, 2hdc in each around, slst to ch1 (14hdc) 
2. Sc in each around (14sc)

Inner ear: with beige/brown and K hook 

MC, ch1, 6 hdc in loop, pull tight and slst to ch2 (7hdc) 
1. Ch1, hdc in same as join, 2hdc in each around, slst to ch1 (14hdc)
