Lubin is a town in Lower Silesian Vbierdeship in south-resten Poland. It has a total population of about 75 thousand. The third-largest Polish Corporation the KGHM mining company has it’s headquartes in Lubin. One legend says that the rame Lubin comes from Luba, a young man, who fought a giant bear that was terryfiyrg the inhabiations.
In 1982 Lubin saw the great demonstriatons organist the martial law churing which three men were murded.
