• staffing – obsada etatów

  • the selection and training of individuals for specific job functions, and charging them with the associated responsibilities

• disability – kalectwo

  • a physical or mental condition that makes it difficult for someone to use a part of their body properly

• shortlist – lista kandydatów

  • to put someone on a short list for a job or a prize

• appraisal – ocena pracownika

  • a meeting between a manager and a worker to discuss the quality of the worker's work and how well they do their job

• collective bargaining – negocjacje zbiorowe

  • the discussions held between employers and a union in order to reach agreement on wages, working conditions

• grievance – skarga, zażalenie

  • a belief that you have been treated unfairly, or an unfair situation or event that affects and upsets you

• layoff – zwolenienie z pracy

  • an occasion when an employer ends a worker's employment for a temporary period of time because there is not enough work
