Position the pole in the correct position to replicate the position of the goalkeeper in relation to the ball.

Distance from the goal

Line of the goal

Angle of the dive - at right angles to the ball

NOTES

How do you teach young Goalkeeper's?

Use cone in middle of goal

Let the goalkeepers start from that position

Take away option as they mature
