How to download the DTV software using serial port on Windows 95/98/2000

1. Connect a NULL Modem (cross-over) cable between the COM1 port on the PC and TV set (side near CAM interface).

2. Run the `Sv2_fr.exe' on the PC.

3. Press the `Browse' button to select the software upgrade file.

4. Select the software upgrade file.

Then you can see the selected file in Step 1.

5. Press the `Next' button to select the COM1 port the DTV set is attached.

6. Press the `Next' button to initializing communications with the DTV set.

7. Reset (power off and on) the DTV set.

8. Press the `Next' button to select the software slot to download.

You may select the `auto-select' as default.

9. Press the `Next' button to transfer new DTV software.

10. When transferring are completed. The DTV set has been upgraded.
