Oil Pressure Switch
1.
Install the oil pressure switch.
Tightening torque : 9-13ft·lb(12-18N·m)
Inspection
Oil Pressure
Required SST : Oil Pressure Gauge: OK670 140 015
1.
Remove the screw from the oil pressure switch to disconnect the oil pressure sending wire.
2.
Remove the oil pressure switch.
3.
Screw the oil pressure gauge into oil pressure switch installation hole.
4.
Start the engine and warm it up normal operating temperature.
5.
Run the engine at 3,000rpm and note the gauge reading.
Oil pressure : 43-57psi (294-392kPa)
6.
If the pressure is not as specified, check for the cause and repair if necessary.
7.
Remove the oil pressure gauge from the oil pressure switch installation hole.
8.
Install the engine oil pressure switch.
9.
Install the screw to the oil pressure switch to reconnect the oil pressure sending wire and tighten.
