ORGANISATION

60 x 40m pitch

5 v 5 plus goalkeepers

3 zones and the formation is 2-2-1

Offside is in play

Pass the ball into the next zone and then move one player in for overload.

KEY FACTORS:

The attackers must threaten the back of the defenders

Get overload into the next zone when the ball is passed in or dribbled into the next zone.

A forward pass in behind defending players can create major problems and maybe more beneficial to your team. Good movement (a backwards run) can create space for a pass or a run with the ball (exploiting the space)

NOTES

The role of the Goalkeeper and their distribution is vital in setting up attacks. The quality, selection, decision making, support for their team is a pivotal role now to create extra options.

NOTES

To counter act this use a Screen, 1 or 2 players.
