Part 1

Sumerian dilim₂ [spoon] = Akk. itqūru "spoon"

The phonetic value of the ideogram is [LIŠ] so where the heck does dilim come from?

It comes from Akkadian

it-qu-ur-ti qa-qa-[di-ia]

my scalp

ta-lam-me qa-qa-di-ia

the rump of my head

The Akkkadian scribe switched the phonetic value of the Akkadian word [talammu] rump to the newly phonetic value of Sumerian [LIŠ] > dilim₂

This is the Sumerian game, they switched one Akkadian phonetic value to another and they did it on the fly. They never predicted the invention of the computers so they never suspected they would get caught.

That is how Sumerian dilim₂ [spoon] derived from Akkadian ta-lam-me [talammu] rump

The phonetic value of the compound of gur₂₁ [shield] is gur₂₁[E.TUM]

Where did this phonetic value gur come from?

The scribe assumed that gur₂₁ [shield] is allophone to Sumerian:

guruš [CUT] wr. guruš3 [URU×GU]; guruš4 [TAG] "to cut, fell, trim, peel off; a cutting; stubble" Akk. kismu; nakāsu; šarāmu

qi--ti qa-qa-di-ia

my head of (trimmed) hair

gu-ra--ti qa-qa-di-ia

the eczema on my head

Again the Akkadian scribe did the trick because the Sumerian guruš [CUT] derived from Akkadian gu-ra--ti [boil]
