1. Introduction

- For Using Downloader, you need the J750 HANDSET DEVICE and a data cable for communication between the HANDSET DEVICE and the Downloader.

2. Basic Structure

SGH-J750 Downloader has User Interface like below.

3. HOW TO DOWNLOAD

3-1. Confirm Com Port and Baud Rate(921k).

3-2. Check the download type, “ by USB “.

3-3. Check the status HANDSET DEVICE is power off, and then PUSH the button `START'..

3-4. Insert a Data Cable into the HANDSET DEVICE and then it makes a communication between the HANDSET DEVICE and the Downloader. Then you'll get into download mode.

3-5. Check the Downloader's progress window message.

CAUTION ->

3-6. Push the button `Imgset', find the path of file `J750_imgset.img'.(if you find a path of file `J750_imgset.img', the other's path information is located on the Downloader automatically.)

3-7. Refer to radio buttons in Main Menu. Check the radio button “All Images Download to NOR+NAND” , and Push the button `DOWNLOAD' . Then Download starts.

3-8. After downloaded, Eject a Data Cable in the HANDSET DEVICE. Then the HANDSET DEVICE will be changed to Normal mode.

3-9. Radio button `Include Calset Data' must be only checked at first time download. After a Calset data is downloaded at first time download, no more Calset data's downloading need.

4. Caution

4-1. Before you download, you must install the J750 USB-pc-driver. If not, your PC will not detect a USB Com Port.

If PC doesn't detect your USB Com Port, you'll see the pop-up window message `USB not detected'.

And then please redo from 3-1 to 3-4

If you want to stop downloading, push the button `Cancel'. And to download again, redo a process from 3-1 to 3-5, then it'll be possible to get into download mode.
