* Notice : Please use the latest ops. If you want change ops, uncheck Protect OPS Option.
- This manual document explains how to setup and use MultiOdin Downloader.
MultiOdin Downloader is program that download image to cellphone.
* YOU MUST USE THIS PROGRAM IN XXII4.
1. MultiOdin and Driver setup (when using first)
See message that do driver setup if entering to download mode(Volumn down + camera + end key) using Odin first time after performing above task.
Install the driver “Swallowtail_v4440_WHQL_Certified” file and execute Setup file.
After finishing install, connect USB cable with phone and the driver will be installed automatically.
If you have a problem to install,
In "c:/Program Files/Samsung/SAMSUNG Mobile Modem" folder, reboot
after executing "SSCDUninstall.exe".
Uncompress a compressed “new-shrewsbury-V4_50_7_0-WHQLed-with-ADB-customer-free.zip” file and execute Setup file.
After finishing install, connect USB cable with phone that reaches the platform
situation.
After opening new hardware searching wizard window, choose S/W auto installation.
When Re-open new hardware searching wizard window, try it again.
If you have a problem to install,
In "c:/Program Files/Samsung/SAMSUNG Mobile Modem" folder, reboot
after executing "SSADUninstall.exe".
Image Download
Download image is composed of image such as spica.ops, i5700XXxxx_PDA_XXX.tar, i5700XXxxx_PHONE_XXX.tar, i5700XXxxx_CSC_XXX.tar and boot image such as i5700XXxxx_BOOT.tar.
Select OPS Button and specify spica.ops file. If Provider doesn't comment about ops file, you don't have to change this image.
If turn on the cellphone with pressing Volume down key + OK key, you can enter download mode. After that connect phone to PC with USB cable.
Select BOOT Button and specify file such as i5700XXxxx_BOOT.tar. file.
Select Phone Button and specify file such as i5700XXxxx_PHONE.tar. file.
Select PDA Button and specify file such as i5700XXxxx_PDA.tar. file.
Select CSC Button and specify file such as i5700XXxxx_CSC.tar. file.
If you want download at the same time, click One Package Button and specify file such as BOOT_PDA_PHONE_CSC.tar file. And then check the One Package Option.
Check Detect Button. You can see “COMXX” in message EditBox.
Click START!
It's over after message “Pass”.
## If BOOTLOADER file is edited, compared with previous one, you should download file BOOTLOADER first, and then download other files, like PDA, PHONE, CSC files.
