OCAL STEERING
Local Steering is designed for local control of the steering gears from propulsor room.
Local steering is carried out of the small two direction switch SC02. The switch is
movable with a cable or it is installed somewhere near of the propulsor.
Switch SC01 can locate in different place in the control cabinet or on the door of the
cabinet.

Turn the switch SC01 to “Local” position
All remote controls are disabled

Turn with switch SC02 either CW or CCW depending of the wanted
direction
The steering speed is lower than in main steering mode

EMOTE CONTROL SELECTION
Turn the switch SC01 to “REMOTE” position
The propulsor will now keep its steering angle
To activate main remote control push SH03 at center station

Start lubrication pump locally.

Turn the propulsor with local steering LCR / SC02 to both directions.
All angle indicators should go to the same position as the mechanical
indicator at propulsor is.
