Origami Penguin

These penguins are so gorgeous - and so quick and easy to 

make once you master the positioning of the folds - that we 

could happily fold a whole flock! 

If you haven’t got any googly eyes, you can cut small circles 

out of scraps of paper or use tiny white and black stickers for 

the same effect. 

1. With the colored side of your black 

square facing up and place diagonally 

in front of you, fold the bottom corner 

up as in the photo.

2. Crease well. Now turn the top 

white point down to make the 

penguin’s beak, as shown.

3. Fold one of the corner points in to 

the middle, lining it up by matching 

the corner to the middle fold (see 

arrow above)

4. Do the same with the other corner 

point. Crease well.

5. Fold the wing flap back on itself, 

this time positioning it so that just the 

tip of the wing peaks out, as shown 

above. 

6. Flip your penguin over, and add his 

eyes!
