of humerus and lateral intermuscular 
septum 

Insertion  

Lateral side of the base of the radial 
styloid process 

Actions  

flexes elbow (strongest with forearm in 
midposition), assists in pronating and 
supinating the forearm when those 
movements are resisted 

Nerve
