     Confirmation Testing

 

Apply the base of the Kinesio Tex to 
the base of the proximal phalange of 
the 5th toe.  

Peel the Kinesio Tex from the paper 
liner and place the tape temporarily 
on the skin. Do not activate the glue 
by rubbing. 

 

Dorsiflex the ankle and toes and 
abduct the 5th toe to increase the 
tissue tension.  

Apply the Kinesio Tex along the 
lateral plantar surface to attach to the 
lateral half of the plantar aspect of the 
calcaneus.
