A romantic Saturday!
Last Saturday I went shopping with my best
friend, Sylvia. We decided to walk into town
because there weren’t any buses. While we were
walking

stopped and gave me his coat. I wanted to ask

time. Luckily my MP3 player was there. But can
you guess who I saw working there? It was the
handsome guy who gave me his coat! When he
saw me he smiled. I asked him ‘Why did you run
away on Saturday?’ He laughed and said ‘Because

Hi, I’m Sandra. I had three holidays this year, I
was really lucky! I went to Paris in March with
my older sister and we had a great time. We
visited the Eiffel Tower and went shopping. I
bought three pairs of shoes! The weather was
quite warm and sunny, but it was really foggy
when we went to the Eiffel Tower, so we didn’t
climb to the top.
I went to London with my aunt and cousins in
May. We were there for a week and we went to
lots of museums and art galleries. The weather
was warm and sunny but it was very windy, too.
I bought some new trainers there, the shops are
great! The fi rst time I went to London was in
2007, when I was just seven. I love it there, it’s
my favourite city.
We had some great weather on my third holiday
in Portugal. I went with my mum and dad in July.
It was very hot. Most days it was more than 30
degrees. There was no rain or cloud! We stayed
in a hotel and went to the outdoor swimming
pool every day.
