Patient position: seated.
Tear the paper backing away from the
central portion of the tape, leaving the
backing on the tails.
Holding the Kinesio Tex by the tails,
apply the central portion of the tape to
the dorsal aspect of the wrist.
Apply the ends of the Kinesio Tex
with very light to light (15-25%)
available tension to the lateral border
of the wrist and ending on the palmar
surface of the wrist, leaving a finger
widths space over the central volar
wrist.
Completed the Kinesio Tex
application on the palmar surface of
the wrist joint (Be careful for the both
ends of the tape not to cross over the
tendons of the flexor carpi radialis
muscle and flexor carpi ulnaris
muscle).
