Screening Test

Tape Specification     

KT Method

 

Patient position: neutral standing with 
the neck slightly flexed.  

Apply the base of the tape just inferior 
to the C7 spinous process with no 
tension.  

Stabilize the base of the Kinesio Tex. 

 

Ask the patient to move into trunk 
flexion. Pull the central portion of the 
tape with very light to light (15-25%) 
available tension and apply the other 
end of the Kinesio Tex to the 
lumbosacral junction.  

Apply the end of the Kinesio Tex with 
no tension.
