Elephant size:

16cm (6.3inc) approx.

Materials:

Worsted  weight yarn or Dk.
light blue, white, red, yellow.
Hook 3mm.
Black red thread
Safety eyes: black or light blue 1 pair      7.5mm(eyes) Elephant
Safety eyes or round black beads : 1 pair    3mm (eyes) Mouse
Blush powder
Wire brush (for brushing elephant hair)

**Finishing: Cut yarn and thread through a tapestry needle. Draw it through the
remaining stitches and pull tight. Poke the tapestry needle inside and hide yarns.

Straps (Make 2)

With red yarn:
Ch28,sl st in second ch from hook and in next 25chs,4hdc in next ch, working in opposite
side of chs; sc in next 26chs.

Buttons (Make 2)

With yellow yarn:
Make a ring with 4scs, sl st in the first sc. Join (4sts)

Put small weight (pellets, etc) inside the feet so that the elephant stands up better.
Then stuff the rest of the leg.

Stuff the torso and sew on the legs making sure the body stands up.

Sew arm on the side of the body.

Install safety eyes between Rnd10&Rnd11 separated 8scs.Then sew the ears on rnd
16 approx. to maintain the curve of the ear with the bigger part on the top.

Head:

From trunk to rear of the head:

Tail:

With light blue yarn:
Rnd1:Ch5, sc in second ch from hook and in next 3chs.FO leaving enough yarn to sew.

Claws (Make4) :

with white yarn:

*ch2,hdc in second ch from hook*.Repeat from *to*2 more times FO leaving enough
yarn to sew.

Sew head on the body, tilted down at the front a little bit. Then sew straps adding
yellow buttons on the front embroidering a cross stitch.

Sew straps crossing on the back and sew tail.

For the elephant’s hair with a tapestry needle and light blue yarn make loops on
the top of the head.

Cut these loops and use a wire brush to make it fluffy.

Sew claws around feet and hands and your elephant its done!.

Mouse:

with white yarn:

Rnd1:Make a ring with 6scs,    sl st in the first sc. Join (6sts)
Rnd2:Ch1,[sc , 2sc in next sc]3times (9sts)
Rnd3-Rnd6:Ch1,work 9scs around (9sts)

Rnd8:2sc in each sc around (12 sts)

Mouse Ears (Make2) :

Ch4,sc in second ch from hook ,2hdc in next ch,4hdcs in next ch,Working in opposite side
of chs;2hdc in next ch,sc in next ch. FO leaving enough yarn to sew.

Mouse arms (Make2) :

Ch6,2scs in second ch from hook ,sl st in next 4chs.FO leaving enough yarn to sew.

Mouse legs(Make2) :

Ch7,sc in second ch from hook ,sl st in next 5chs.FO leaving enough yarn to sew.

Torso and head is made in one piece.

Sew ears, arms and legs. With tapestry needle and white yarn pass it trough the
body to form a tail.

Embroider nose, smile, eyebrows and round beads for the eyes between
Rnd10&Rnd11. Add blush with a cotton tip to the inner front side of the ears, hand,
feet and cheeks.

Tie a red bow around the neck and pass through 3 black threads to form the
whiskers. And your little mouse its done!.
