What are the differences between line dropouts and line striping?
Answer
Line dropouts occur when a sensor gives wrong data or stops functioning. Data
are unrecoverable. Line striping is an error in the sensor response, and can be
accurately corrected digitally by reassigning a function to correct for this ano-
maly.
