Common extensor tendon from the lateral 
epicondyle of humerus, deep antebrachial 
fascia 

Insertion  

Extensor expansion of the 5th finger with 
extensor digitorum tendon 

Actions  

Extends the 5th finger 
metacarpophalangeal joint, assists in 
abduction of the 5th finger 
With the lumbricales and interossei, 
extends the interphalangeal joints of the 
5th finger 

Nerve  

Radial nerve
