Patient position: supine or long sitting
with the foot in relaxed plantar flexion.
Apply the base of the Kinesio Tex to
the talocrural joint line between the
medial and lateral malleolli
Peel the Kinesio Tex from the paper
liner and place the tape temporarily
on the skin. Do not activate the glue
by rubbing.
Apply each of the tails to the 1st
through 4th toes.
Plantar flex the ankle and toes to
increase the tissue tension.
Once the tails have been applied,
apply pressure in the direction of
ankle and toe plantarflexion to
increase tissue tension.
Reapply the base of the tape
